"walking in the room was like walking through a beautiful painting"
Francine Rosenstock - magazine writer
This 1920's building is a most appropriate setting for the antique panels. They are most likely French or English. The client acquired the panels from a baroness's estate, and stored them in a barn until she could find the right place to use them (over thirty years later). In spite of their age they were still stunningly beautiful. The window treatments were custom designed to match their grandeur. The chandelier is Italian. The tassel motif in the mirror is picked up in the curtains, and in the ties on the seat cushions.
